The Osteoporosis Research Center, affiliated with the Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, aims to be recognized by 1404 as the most important and influential research institution in the country and one of the leading research institutes internationally in its specialized field.
The Osteoporosis Research Center collaborates with the World Health Organization and the International Osteoporosis Foundation, aligning its efforts with the goals of the Osteoporosis Research Network and the Osteoporosis Association in the country. The center is dedicated to providing the necessary evidence for policymakers and health leaders at both national and international levels. The objectives pursued by the Osteoporosis Research Center are based on its strategic plan and align with the overarching goals of the Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute and Tehran University of Medical Sciences. These objectives focus on implementing research projects to assess informational needs, educational activities, and leveraging existing knowledge to enhance related technologies for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of this disease.
The center aims to be recognized by 1404 as the most prominent institution in the country regarding osteoporosis and one of the distinguished centers at the regional and global levels. To achieve this goal, the development of national and international collaborative networks will be one of the key strategies moving forward.
