Evidence, albeit with conflicting results, has suggested that cardiometabolic risk factors, including obesity, type 2 diabetes (T2D), dyslipidemia, and hypertension, are highly associated with changes in metabolic signature, especially plasma amino acids and acylcarnitines levels.

Due to the importance of maternal health for the development of society and the role of information systems in improving healthcare, this study aims to investigate and analyze the characteristics and topics of articles published in the field of information systems in maternal health.
